The history of Wüsthof, a company known for producing knives, was born in Germany in Solingen in 1814. Founded by Abraham Wüsthof since then, the company has always been run by the family and today there is the seventh generation, Harald and Viola Wüsthof. The brand is represented by a trident, which symbolizes the three core values of the company: passion, diligence and perfection. The functionality and the quality of Wüsthof products have been confirmed for two centuries, these characteristics are recognized all over the world and they made the company a specialist in the production of excellent knives. It takes over 40 steps to create a Wüsthof knife starting from a piece of steel. The development department is always at work looking for new materials and production processes. Despite the achievement of an ultra- modern technology, even today, at certain stages of the production, manual work is very important and indispensable in order to obtain an excellent quality.
